Dr.Devendra Sharma has over 30 years of diverse experience in the areas of foreign policy, area studies, media, IT consulting, banking, finance, insurance, home improvement, power and energy, and renewable energy.In his research and academic career Dr. Sharma has worked with institutions like JNU and National Institute of Educational Planning, New Delhi. While overseas he has worked with organizations like Bank of America, PNC Bank, Lowe's, T. Rowe Price Group, Pennsylvania Power & Light Corporation, Black & Veatch, and Leaders in Energy in the U.S.A.
Dr.Devendra Sharma is a Ph.D. from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, specializing in Central Asian region and holds a deep interest in the energy and environmental sector policies, technologies, and strategies. Dr. Sharma is the votary of Net Zero 2050 goal to save all life on Earth, the only known habitable planet in the vast expanse of the Universe. He believes that the shift to accessible and clean energy is a duty to our global community, especially to the less fortunate, and to the generations yet to come.
Dr. Ramakant Dwivedi is, currently, Advisor, iSpace Renewals, New Delhi. He has a PhD from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Dr. Dwivedi was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Academy of Sciences, Tashkent, Uzbekistan (1998-2001). He was Associate Fellow at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi (2003 – 2007). He had worked as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) and Gp Director of Afghanistan, Central and West Asia Desk with the National Security Advisor Office, Prime Minister Office, Government of India (2007 – 2024). He has looked after a variety of domains assigned to him during the service.
His major areas of research are energy security, national security and foreign policy. He has widely travelled in the Eurasian region. Dr Dwivedi was awarded Nehru Memorial Scholarship for Doctoral Studies by Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund, Teen Murti House, New Delhi. He has represented India in 14 countries as domain expert and part of official delegation. His published works include 41 research papers in national/international journals, edited books. He has authored/edited nine books on international relations and energy security.
Dr. Dwivedi is Founding & Life Member of the India – Central Asia Foundation (ICAF), New Delhi; Life Member, United Services Institution of India (USI), New Delhi, Life Member, India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC), New Delhi and Associate Member, Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), India International Centre (IIC), Press Club of India (PCI), New Delhi.
Dr. Rajeev Sharma is the South Asia Director of the Global Union Federation, an international organization of national and regional trade unions based in Geneva, Switzerland. With over two decades of experience, he actively advocates for workers' and human rights, addressing crucial issues such as labor, climate change, just transition, gender equality, child labor, and occupational health and safety. Dr. Sharma holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India.
He is the author of a book on child labor and has contributed to numerous national and international journals. Actively engaged in global advocacy through extensive travel, he has held various roles with UN agencies and the Ministry of Labour & Employment in India.
Janine A. Finnell is the founder and Executive Director of "Leaders in Energy," a non-profit organization based in the Washington DC Metropolitan area, USA. With a mission to advance green energy, "Leaders in Energy" functions as a networking platform for over 6,000 energy leaders and organizations across the United States and over 100 countries worldwide.With an extensive career spanning over 40 years, Ms. Finnell has worked in various sectors, including energy, technology, agriculture, and environmental fields. Her professional journey includes roles in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the U.S. Agency for International Development, as well as collaborations with state governments, non-governmental organizations, DOE national laboratories, and the electric utility industry.
Ms. Finnell's professional background extends to her role as a Managing Consultant at IBM, where she led a team examining DOE's Office of Nuclear Energy's role in supporting NASA with atomic batteries for spacecraft conducting scientific missions in deep space, such as the Curiosity Mars Rover. Currently, Ms. Finnell serves on the Board of the Association of Energy Engineers and its Council on Women for Energy and Environmental Leadership, both at the national and local levels. Additionally, she is a member of the National Capital Area Chapter of the U.S. Association of Energy Economics, Arlingtonians for a Clean Environment, and the Women’s Council on Energy and the Environment. Ms. Finnell has a Masters from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Agricultural and Applied Economics (with a focus on international development and energy resource economics) and pursued Post Masters work at George Washington University in energy and environmental management and resource policy.
Vivek Kapil offers a wealth of expertise with over 8 years in Project Execution, Construction, and Operations, particularly within Power Transmission, Distribution, and Renewable Energy sectors. He has successfully led Solar EPC and various I&C Rooftop and Ground Mounted projects nationwide.Vivek holds degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Gurukul Kangri Deemed University Haridwar Uttarakhand. Prior to iSpace Renewals, Vivek served as Director Operations, AV Solar Energy Company, and has also worked with companies like Amplus Solar and Techelo Engineering in various roles and capacities.
Pankaj Sharma is an accomplished expert in solar PV project development with over 8 years of industry experience. He holds deep experience in energy sector technologies and robust understanding of energy policies, strategies, institutions and regulations. Pankaj holds an Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand & has strong expertise in Project Construction & Management, Budget management, Project liaising TL & Sub-station expertise.
Before his tenure at iSpace Renewals, Pankaj distinguished himself as Partner and Project Director at AV Solar Energy Company, and as North India Head at Rooftop Urja Private Limited. Under his guidance, our projects not only see the light of day but also thrive—showcasing his dedication to not just meeting but exceeding benchmarks in project excellence.
